AIDP 2019 - Congress Venue
The Congress will be held at LUISS Guido Carli in the historical headquarter of Viale Pola 12.
Luiss – Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli – is an independent university. It was created out of a pre-existing Roman institution, Pro Deo, between 1974 and 1978.
Luiss offers an innovative educational approach at its four Departments: Economics and Finance, Business and Management, Law, and Political Science.
Its goal is not simply to convey knowledge but to instill flexibility in young people, giving them a sense of mastery over their future.
Furthermore, Luiss has four Schools for graduate and professional studies: the Luiss Business School, the School of Government, the School of Law, and the School of European Political Economy.
Located in the heart of Rome, in the lively Trieste neighborhoods, the Campus is well connected and easily reachable from the Center.

From Fiumicino Airport
Fiumicino airport is the biggest international airport in Rome and it is well connected to the city centre by express and regular train services or shuttles buses. For any further information: www.adr.it/pax-fco-treno and www.trenitalia.it.
Take the Leonardo Express or a shuttle bus from the airport to Rome Termini Train Station. Once at Termini, please refer to By Bus section here below.
From Ciampino Airport
Ciampino airport is a Rome smaller international airport and it is connected to the city centre by shuttle services.Take a shuttle to Termini Train Station. Once at Termini, please refer to By Bus section here below.
TRAIN, BUS OR METRO
Closest train stations to LUISS are: Roma Tiburtina and Roma Termini.
If you are coming from Rome Termini Station, please refer to By Bus section here below.
If you are coming from Roma Tiburtina Station, there are two possibilities:
- Take metro line B (direction Laurentina/Ionio, connection on “Bologna”) stop at Sant’Agnese/Annibaliano then walk to LUISS (around 10 minutes)
- Take metro line B (direction Laurentina) and stop at Termini Station. Once at Termini Train Station/ Piazza dei Cinquecento, please refer to By Bus section here below.
Closest bus stop to LUISS is Nomentana/Villa Torlonia (300 meters) or Nomentana/XXI aprile (700 meters).
At Termini Train Station/ Piazza dei Cinquecento, take the bus line 82 or 66 from Piazza dei Cinquecento (the main bus station in front of Termini Train Station) to Nomentana/Villa Torlonia stop. LUISS is 300-meter walk from there.
Alternatively, still from Termini, take the bus line 90 to Nomentana/XXI aprile stop. LUISS is 700-meter walk from there.
Closest metro station to LUISS is Sant’Agnese/Annibalianon (B1). It is around 10 minutes walking distance to LUISS.

From North: Highway A1 direction Roma, exit at “Roma Nord”, than take GRA direction “Fiumicino” and exit at “Via Salaria”.
